Embarrassing Pictures

Last week Judy came over with Ojai and Tanya and we had puppy play time. Levi was a bit overwhelmed so we kept him in the bedroom while all the craziness was happening. Needless to say, the dogs had fun. Tanya is such a great dog...I hope O2 turn out as calm as she is.... right now, I wouldn't bet on it. Lab puppies are...well, lab puppies. We can see changes in her personality and she is growing up but still has the puppie energy! Enough said. Got some pictures of her cradling in my lap. it's a lot harder to hold this 32 pound creature than is was the first day. She also is about 17 inches at the withers. Hard to measure that as she is so wiggly. But thought I'd post the lovely picture my brother took of her.....no shame with this one!

Reily is learning release and wait (by the door) and down quite well. She still wants to bit and nip which drives me crazy but she will settle down now and nap in the living room if we're watching tv without being in her pen. In fact, Gene said last night while I was at bell rehearsal, that both she and Levi just napped on the floor while he watched TV - I've found that timeouts really help us all - and also I've learned that ear plugs are great for sleeping as she is quite the snorer!! Sometimes the ear plugs don't block out all the noise.

She's had all her puppy shots now and we are just waiting for a few more weeks to start taking her places other than work and the vet. Oh boy...adventures on the horizon.
